Ø       The PCHS “Pirate Quest”  Freshman Academy is a learning environment that will create a successful transition from middle to high school by focusing on core academics, character building, proper study habits, and increased participation in school activities.

Ø      Students will get to know their teachers, guidance counselors, and administrators on a personal level, creating and sustaining an open line of communication between school, students, and parents.

Ø      Students will garner an awareness of the “real world” application of skills not only in school, but for the rest of their lives, creating life-long learners.

Ø      With a curriculum based on “Rigor and Relevance”, our students will excel and be better prepared  for future post-secondary vocational training and/or education.
