PORT CHARLOTTE, FL – Charlotte County Public Schools invites students and families of 5th and 11th graders to attend the Magnet Fair on Thursday, January 16th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Centennial Park, located at 1185 Centennial Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33953. 

This exciting event provides an opportunity for students and their families to explore the diverse and enriching programs offered at participating schools throughout the district.

"I encourage all students and families to explore the diverse academic pathways available within our district," states Superintendent of Schools Mark Vianello. "Our Magnet Fair offers a unique opportunity to discover the exciting programs and endless possibilities that await our students."

Attendees will be able to learn about specialized programs tailored to their interests, engage in hands-on activities and demonstrations, and meet teachers, staff, and current students. No matter what you're into, there’s a place for you at Charlotte County Public Schools. Students accepted into a magnet program located outside their zoned school will be provided with transportation.

Magnet programs offer a diverse range of options, including Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing, Agriculture, Aviation, Cybersecurity, Entrepreneurship/Small Business, Drones, and TV Production.
