Babcock Neighborhood School (BNS) and Babcock High School (BHS) are innovative public charter schools serving students from Kindergarten through grade 12. Open to all students, with a preference for Charlotte County and Babcock Ranch residents, these schools provide a unique educational option for families seeking meaningful, real-world learning experiences.

Located in Babcock Ranch - the nation's first solar-powered town - BNS and BHS offer an education grounded in the greenSTEAM model, which integrates science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. The schools’ place-based approach immerses students in the local environment, encouraging them to explore and engage with the world around them. At Babcock, learning goes beyond the classroom. Project-Based Learning (PBL)  gives students hands-on opportunities to solve real-world problems and connect their education to meaningful, practical applications. While following public-based educational standards, students are expected to go beyond and demonstrate a mastery of subjects developing the critical thinking, creative, and collaboration skills needed to succeed in today’s rapidly changing world.

BHS expands opportunities for high school students through rigorous academic programs and career-focused pathways, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, dual enrollment partnerships with FGCU, FSW, and Charlotte Technical College, and the AICE Diploma program. These programs prepare students for both college and career, ensuring they graduate with the tools to thrive in their future endeavors.
