"I’ve been part of CCPS since Head Start at Baker, with immense support from my Mom and Brother. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve everything I have so far. Being a student always comes with challenges but some teachers were willing to help me on the difficult journey of success that was in store for me. Teachers from Sallie Jones, Punta Gorda Middle, and Charlotte High guided me through challenges and helped me grow. My mom and teachers like Ms. Simonik and Mrs. Steyskal fostered my love for learning, while Mrs. Morris and Ms. Alumbaugh shaped my leadership skills. Ms. Klossner, Mrs. Lindsey, and Mr. Iorfida’s support ensured my success as class president, speechwriter, and future FAMU Rattler. Now, I’m thriving at FAMU, majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy with a 4.0 GPA. Without my Mother and the support from these teachers and more I would not have been able to grow into the Man I have become." -Daniel Robinson, CHS 2024 Senior Class President & Commencement Speaker
